Default Jeff Van Gundy statement last night about Yao Ming-lol

He said that if he is going to continue to turnover the ball then the Rockets will be better off without him-lol I said last night that I was never impressed with Yao Ming. He is just too f*cking clumsy and always does something ******** in the 4th QTR that causes him team to LOSE.

i remember what's he doing now either boxing or racing horses?
anyways Yao is a joke. i can't believe how much people think this joke is good. If he's so good how come Amare was the rookie of the year and not his fake a*s. The Shaq VS Yao matchup was a joke. Shaq is way strong. Yao is scared to guard guys 1 on 1.

You 2 need to lay off the crack pipe for a bit. 7'6' tall with actual skill, Before the injury was averaging 26pt. and 10 rebs but he a joke. He goes 5 for 15 on his first game back and grabs 11 boards with 6 on the offensive end yet I don't hear either of you 2 saying anything about T-Mac going 10 for 32 on shots, 3 of 10 from 3 point land and 2 of 5 from the free throw line.

Yao at full strength will give you 25 and 10, shoot over 50% from the field and shoot over 85% from the foul line. And guess what!! The ball can actually be given to him in the final seconds of a game because he'll hit his free throws unlike what's his name down in Miami.

Amare won the Rookie of the year because he was the better player that year. Yao was learning a new culture and a different way of playing basketball than from China. Yaq also got stuck with Steve Francis who wouldn't pass the ball to Wilt Chamberlain if he was on his team!!

Where did he say this??

Jeff Van Gundy offered a harsh assessment.

"Uneven," Van Gundy said. "Which is to be expected."

And ...

"He's got to cut down on his turnovers," Van Gundy said. "We can't play well if he goes right back to what he was doing before. Which is be a high-turnover guy. It's impossible to have offensive rhythm."

If you read everything he says, he is trying to say-"what good is he if he is going to continue to turn the ball over?

Shaq can't hear this he has like 4 championship rings stuck in his ear lol. anyways amare killed tim duncan in the 05 western conf. finals and he's having an all star season coming back from a very serious injury. Amare is more agressive.

So now you're putting words into Van Gundys mouth???

Let's see....he averages 3.86 turnovers a game. Gee...I wonder if the team can live with 4 TO's a game or 26 points a game.

Let's look at some other stars TO rate:

McGrady - 3.04
Kobe - 3.48
LeBron - 3.21
Shaq(from 97' to 03') - between 2.5 and 3
D. Wade - 4.20!!!!! Oh No!!! What good can Wade be if he continues to turn the ball over!!!

Amare is the more aggressive player. Two different cultures. Yaq has had to learn to be aggressive were as Amare already was. Yao is a more polished player than Amare. More fundamentally sound. Yao has had some pretty good games against Amare in the past. I can remember one were he held him to only 9 point and Yao finished with 27pts. and 22 boards.

Damn Sol. You're really struggling lately. Reading Van Gundys mind wrong and then making bad predictions. I think all the talk about man-purses has you off your game.
