Hello to all fellow Golden Girls fans out there!
I recently wrote a post about the Scandinavian friendship cake Rose once mentioned in one of the episodes: Vanskapkaka. Hey! Unlike many other "Scandinavian" words, that Rose used, which just sounded very much Scandinavian to the ignorant American public, this one is actually correct. "Vänskapskaka" really means "friendship cake" in Swedish! You must remember the dots above the first "A" though. "Ä" is actually a letter in its own right in our alphabet.
