BEST and WORST TV shows based on movies?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I would probably put M*A*S*H and Buffy in the category of best, as they took the premises of the movies and expanded them in creative ways. Both shows enjoyed long runs.

Worst? There are too many to count, but I would say My Big Fat Greek Life. LOVED the movie, hated the show. Apparently many other people did, too.

I would pick Alice as the best, but since a few picked, I will say

Best: What's Happening!! Based on "Cooley High"

Worse: Uncle Buck (the movie was good, but the short lived sitcom sucked)
