It was a cool episode. Like mentioned, they had snow trucked in and they had a snow blowing machine. Pretty decent episode. Last night's episode had the girls horseback riding in the Hollywood hills.

First let me give a shout out to my very cool pal Irene (if that is allowed) I certainly appreciate a woman who starts a thread about "The Girls Next Door", which is one of the better "reality" shows out there, they make the playboy mansion seem like such a nice warm fuzzy place to live & work, the girls all have unique personalities and seem sweet and Hef comes off as one classy gentlemen. I actually bought the bobbleheads from E! online (they threw Hef in for free if you buy all the girls), they bobble on a shelf in my bathroom! Yes the christmas episode was very sweet!

Thank you sweetie. I fell in love with this show. I love watching abt these girls and I really like Hef. He may be some "dirty old man" to some, but he really knows how to treat the ladies, even if he is seeing a handful of them. He makes each one feel special. Now, I don't know how Holly can "share" her man the way she does, it is something that is known by these girls when they become Hef's girlfriend, so it's no surprise, but still, Holly loves Hef and wants to have a child and marry him. I doubt that will occur since Hef is still married to his wife, who happens to live "next door"...literally.

My thoughts on tonight's new episode...spoilers may be ahead:

I really liked how they focused the episode on the girls branching out their careers. I was most interested in Holly's job at the West Coast Playboy branch. The girl she picked to model was absolutely stunning. It was so cute to see Holly so happy when she got praised for a job well done by Hef

I can't wait for next week's episode

I agree. I hope all goes well for Holly.

I have a question, what does Kendra do to have money for a condo? Does she do other modeling? Or is it money she received from Playboy as a model/bunny and being Hef's girlfriend?

There's supposedly a tell-all book written by an ex Playmate (who used to live at the mansion a few years ago) and she reported that the girlfriends all got an 'allowance' of sorts. I don't remember the exact amount, but it was at least $2,000 a week (it could've been more, but I don't know). If it's true or not, I'm don't know...she could be exaggerating to sell her book.

If I can dig up more info, I will There were some very interesting tidbits about their lives that are pretty hush-hush.

Ok, I managed to dig up a few facts...well, I guess I can't call them facts, but rumors. We'll never truly know, I suppose. These tidbits were from Izabella St. James, who used to reside at the mansion. She wrote a book called 'Behind the Scenes at the Playboy Mansion' (I think...that's what my source says).

- For important events (such as the Grammy's), Hef will give each girl $2,000 to get their hair, make-up, nails, etc done.

- Every Friday morning, the girls get paid $2,000. You have to report to Hef's room between 8-9, no exceptions. If you sleep in or whatnot, you don't get your money for the week. It is also reported that Hef will most likely change his mind if the girl cries

- For birthdays, girls will usually ask for plastic surgeries (big, expensive stuff like that) because Hef doesn't hesitate in that department.

- Hef loves animals, so if the girls decide to buy one and bring it to the mansion, he will let them stay there and pay the girl back for any expenses used in buying that animal.

- The girls must attend events (Club nights, Playboy mansion parties, etc). This gives the girls a lot of time to themselves and to party with friends. They can invite up to 5 people for the Playboy mansion parties.

- This is a bit crazy, but Hef has a curfew for all of the girls. They must be in by 9 p.m., no exceptions. I think if you ask for prior permission, you can extend the hours (like when they go away to Vegas or something).

- If the girls are caught getting intimate with the hired help, the staff member is fired and the girl is kicked out of the house. I guess this is to ensure the girls aren't just there for a free ride and screwing other guys.

- Many of the girlfriends have boyfriends, husbands, and children at home (Bridget is rumored to be married!) and can see them for limited hours during the week. They mainly stay at the mansion, though.

I hope you guys found that interesting, whether it's true or not. I sure did!
