Port Washington Amusement Park??? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It's obvious the body of water next to the roller coaster in the opening credits is an edit. I've always been curious which amusement park it is in the opening. That coaster looks similar to Gemini in Cedar Point, Ohio.

I've done a lot of surfing around and I can't seem to find which park is featured in the show's opening credits! Anybody know?

Ok, I'm still not sure, but is the coaster Colossus in Six Flags Magic Mountain, Los Angeles?
I saw another post where someone mentioned Colossus in New Jersey, but there is no such coaster in NJ.

It is the coaster in Valencia, Six Flags Magic Mountain, it is Colossus. That theme park is abt an hour from where I live. I live in a beach city. Valencia is nowhere near the beach.

I never understood why they had that horrible editing. I mean, no one in their right mind would build that particular size rollercoaster RIGHT ON THE BEACH like that. High tides anyone???????
