Default Cliff & Pam

It was hard for me to think of them as brother and sister, they seemed so different. Sometimes I wanted Pam to slap some sense into him. Did anyone
else think they made odd siblings?

I actually believed them to be siblings. Remember, we later learned that they shared a mother, but not a father, hence the fact they didn't really resemble each other.

I agree, Cliff was so bent on destroying J.R. he let it rule everything in his life, even if it meant his life.

I'd forgot about that. Cliff could be so annoying, you just wanted him to realize that he could never outwit J.R.

I thought they complimented each other well, especially in the third season when the paternity of John Ross was questionable.

Yeah Cliff was annoying but in season 6 Pam was VERY annoying. What a big baby! Bobby was well rid of her.

I always say that Pam did turn into a whiner, but my God, look at what she had to put up with. You think Debra Barone had it bad on Everybody Loves Raymond, try living in the same house as J.R. Ewing. I'd be a real big time b*tch having to live with that!! J.R. hated her and her brother. He was always scheming to tear Bobby and her apart. If she and Bobby had their own place, that would have helped a lot. Get off that damn ranch!!!!!

^ Just look what JR did to Gary & Val!! At least they had the sense to get the heck out of Dodge (thanks to Miss Ellie buying them the new house in Knots Landing)...but then they had Abby to contend with. That's a whole other post!

Oh yeah, they should have gotten the heck out of there. But hey, then "Dallas" wouldn't have been "Dallas".

I could never figure out why they all lived in the same house anyway. They were BILLIONAIRES, for Pete's sake!! At least have them live in different mansions on the same property.

In the mini-series they all had individual houses on Southfork to live in but when it got renewed everyone just moved into the mainhouse. It was like My Three Sons.

I remember those little cottages they had. They seemed so small. But at least they did live separately. The thought of all those hotheads in one ranch home... Miss Ellie could not cut those apron strings. Remember how upset she was when Bobby said he and Pam were leaving, shortly before J.R. was shot? My God, you'd think someone had ripped Bobby right out of her uterus.

No wonder Gary became a drunk. Can you imagine living in the same house with Jock, JR and Bobby growing up?
