In the season 7 episode "Class of '56," Laverne and Shirley don't recognize Terry Buttafucco because she lost a lot of weight. Laverne tells Terry that she doesn't remember knowing anyone that looked like her. I always thought that was strange because Terry looks just like she did when she appeared in the season 3 episode "Tag Team Wrestling" and the season 5 episode "Bad Girls."

They didn't really recognize her because she had long, straight, blonde hair and was wearing a dress... whereas before, she was wearing knit hats and gray sweats all of the time, lol.
