What kind of vehicle did you use, when you were first learning to drive?
I learned to drive using a used 1965 mustang, I liked it because it was small and easy to handle. |

My first car was a 1987 Chrysler New Yorker, that I purchased for $500 from a friend of the family when I turned 16. Drove it from April 2003-December 2005. WHen it was invovled in an accident. Than got hooked on Lincolns. Miss that car. It had a turbo charged engine on that baby, and could pass anything on the road.

The first car I drove... actually behind the wheel... was a friend's 1969 Chevelle. But one of my brothers let me steer and accelerate his '66 Plymouth Fury III V-8. I would reach over and take hold of the steering wheel and push the accelerator.
My actual driving lessons at home were in the '66 Dodge Dart GT V-8 which I owned from 1979 to 2002. |

98 Toyota Corolla, the size of this car was an advantage for me parallel and reverse parking.

Small cars are a plus when you're learning to drive, don't you think?
