Whatever happened to Joan Hotchkis? Is she still living, if so, is she still active?

I liked Nancy- I can see why maybe the producers didn't want Oscar to have a steady girlfriend for that long, but I didn't like that there was no mention of her after her last appearance. But, that had happened before (Oscar's poker buddies, Pigeon Sisters). I don't recall Miriam being referred to after her last appearance, either. At least Myrna got married and had a sendoff.
