Anyone get their A-Team sets fixed? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I picked up S2 pre owned. I enjoy this guilty pleasure however as the Amazon reviews point out there are heaps of trouble with freezing/pixeling. Anyone here ever contact Universal and get their sets exchanged?

Seems like the entire series is plagued with this sort of lazy quality control and double sided messes. My Remington Steele S2 also had a problem or two but on the A-Team, the first disc has 4 out of 6 that will not play; to me that's just not gonna fly.

Any contact numbers; etc?

is the email for the fixes. So far they have been helpful but they say it will take up to six weeks for a replacement. Since I bought this "used" do you think they will accept the "used" receipt? I was thinking of buying it sealed, then getting a copy of that receipt and send IT IN, taking the sealed A Team back after the dirty deed

~ Should this be necessary? Do you think they will take the "used" reciept?
