Default Klinger was married?

I'm watching all the shows at night, slowly on DVR, and in the midst of his dress-as-a-girl phase, he says he's married.....i know at the end of the series he marries the Korean girl, so what's up with that?

Klinger married his girlfiend Laverne via HAM radio in the season three episode "Springtime."

The long distance marriage didn't work, and Klinger and Laverne divorced a few seasons later.

Laverne was never seen, only heard over the radio when she married Klinger.

Not sure who provided her voice.

in that episode-"Springtime"-when Col. Blake's marrying Klinger & Laverne, and at one point the transmission starts to go, and in trying to get it back; Radar gets a woman doing a cooking show; the womans voice was done by Mary Kay Place of MARY HARTMAN, MARY HARTMAN. I like it when Col. Blake says "Listen lady; I'm trying to marry a soldier in the middle of a war"! and she says "THAT'S SICK"!!!

She was also one of the writers of "Hot Lips and empty arms" from season 2 and she played a nurse in one episode.

The episode where Mary Kay Place played a nurse with the hots for Radar was "Springtime," another M*A*S*H episode she wrote.

no it wasn't. In "Springtime" you just heard her voice on the radio; like I said. I know; I have that one on DVD and just finished watching it this second (I have my TV and DVD player by my computer).

And in the one where she played a nurse; Radar "had the hots" for her, not the other way around. I remember, there was a scene where he saw her lying out, sunning herself in a bikini, and then he was telling Hawkeye & B.J. about it.

I beg to differ.

i just watched "Springtime," and that was Mary Kay Place who played Lt. Simmons (reffered to as Louise in the closing credits) in that episode. Radar did see her sunning herself in a bikini, but it was Hawkeye and Trapper he talked to.

Mary Kay Place did provide the voice heard over the HAM radio.
