John Travolta: Scientology could have saved Anna Nicole Smith - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

John Travolta says that if Anna Nicole Smith had followed the teachings of Scientology she’d be alive today.

The “Pulp Fiction” star says that if the late pin-up could have been saved if she had undergone treatment of Narconon, a controversial drug and detox treatment inspired by the writings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Smith and Travolta appeared together in the movie “Be Cool.”

Narconon supporters swear by the program, but a number of health professionals have questioned its effectiveness.

“It’s so sad,” Travolta said while in promoting his latest flick, “Wild Hogs.” “We could have helped her with Narconon but didn’t get a chance to. I wish we had.”

A toxicology report hasn’t been released on Smith, but methadone and other prescription drugs were found in the Florida hotel room where she died earlier this month.

He is the only celeb that I have actually heard him say good things abt Anna. He was saying she was a beautiful lady, with a great sense of humor, her bond with Daniel was so obvious and loving. He almost cried talking abt her and how he and his wife wanted to help her. Too bad he didn't get that chance. John is my man and he has always shown class. I haven't heard or read abt any other celebs talk abt Anna, all they say is "the poor baby", etc. but no one has actually come out and talked abt ANNA. She appeared in John's movie BE COOL along with her son. John said on the set she was professional, funny, sweet and beautiful. He said it was so obvious at the love and closeness she had for Daniel.

That's right Irene. John Travolta is a class act and a gentleman. Where are all the blabbermouths in Hollyweird who all think they're experts on everything and never shut up about anything?

Good question...

In all the years I have followed John's career (since Welcome Back Kotter) I have never read a negative comment by him or towards him by his peers. He is a rarity in Hollywood. His wife is so damn lucky!
