Question Who's a snorer?

I've never been one to snore, only on occasion. My husband can raise the roof with snoring, but only when he's extra tired or has been drinking. My father used to fall asleep on his recliner after dinner, and his own snoring would wake him up, lol.

Who's a snorer, sleeps with a snorer, lives with a snorer?

I do sometimes.

No one is worse than my 10 year old stepsister. I cannot even explain the noises coming out of such a small body. Its unbelievable.

I only snore when I sleep on my back and that only happens if I fall asleep on the couch while watching TV.

I do but not that much. I know my parents and my brother are snorers! We all had to sleep in the same big room while visiting family. I coulden't sleep cause of their loud snoring. It seemed like they were having a contest. cause on would snore then the other would do it louder then so and so on..

Kind of dumb on my part, but I haven't bothered to get the "Darth Vader mask" yet. I haven't been officially diagnosed. My doctor keeps pestering me to have the sleep study done, and my oral surgeon told me I definitely have it after he operated on me a few months ago.

I just can't be arsed to do the sleep study. Stupid, I know. A mask would probably help me sleep a lot better than I do, and I wouldn't be posting on message boards at 11:46 at night.

Actually AKA, what gave me the idea for this thread was Dear Abby's column on snoring and sleep apnea. Get a load of me...it's almost 3am. Damn meds, lol.

Yeah, I know all about the crappy side effects of medication. I swear, between you and I, we could start our own pharmacy.

I really should get something done about my sleep apnea. I haven't slept well in a long time. I'm just nervous about having a sleep study done. It seems really creepy to have lab technicians watch you while you sleep.

I know. That is a scary thought. Reminds me of a horror movie. That aside, you should consider it. When I go to bed late, I can sleep in. Your alarm goes off in the morning, and you have an office to go to.

Yes. 5 am is creeping up on me, and that's another thing that keeps me awake. I'm going to go try and get my five hours of sleep in. Wish me luck.

I don't think I'm a snorer. I've never been told that I snored, so I assume I'm not. My mom on the otherhand is a big time snorer!! We live in a tri-plex, and even our neighbors have heard her snoring before. LOL!!

I'm not a snorer, unless I happen to be sick with a sinus infection or something of that nature. My mom, however, snores like a bandsaw! She's kept me awake on more than one occasion, and that's from the other room! My dad snores sometimes too, but not nearly as bad as my mom.

My mom has the mask but she never uses it. My parents both have sleep apnea, so my house is not a quiet place at night. They sleep in separate rooms because they wake each other up.

One time I was walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night. As I entered the bathroom, I heard a motorcycle flying by the front of the house. Or, at least I thought I did. It was just my mom snoring. She's one of the louder snorers I know.

My cousin is worse, particularily when he's drunk. He actually sounds like he's dying or something, it's horrible.
