Default Guest stars - life after The Honeymooners

Well, after searching through IMDb once again, I found some pretty interesting information about some actors and actresses that once appeared on The Honeymooners and what they were up to after the show ended:

George Petrie (1912-1997) - A regular "Gleason player," best known to Honeymooners fans as Freddie Muller. Made an impressive number of television appearances after The Honeymooners, including: The Twilight Zone, Leave It To Beaver, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Mister Ed, The Andy Griffith Show, The Addams Family, The Munsters, Hawaii Five-O, Gunsmoke, Maude, The Love Boat, General Hospital, Little House on the Prairie, Hill Street Blues, Three's Company, The Facts of Life, Who's The Boss?, Newhart, and most recently, The Drew Carey Show and Mad About You. In addition to television, Mr. Petrie also appeared alongside Steve Martin and John Candy in the 1987 comedy Planes, Trains & Automobiles.

Frank Marth (1922-) - Another "Gleason player," that you may remember as Dick Prescott in "Head of the House," or Harvey Wohlstetter in "The Babysitter." Mr. Marth, who is still alive, also made a number of television appearances after The Honeymooners, such as: My Favorite Martian, Perry Mason, Combat!, Bonanza, Hawaii Five-O, Hogan's Heroes, Mission: Impossible, The Mod Squad, Shaft, Gunsmoke (in the episode "Celia" alongside George Petrie), M*A*S*H, Little House on the Prairie, Starsky and Hutch, The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, The Incredible Hulk and The Dukes of Hazzard. He also starred in the 1994 film Loving Deadly, alongside David Warner, Shirley Anne Field & Terry Kiser.

Eddie Hanley (1904-1997) - Appeared frequently on the show, usually in minor roles, such as Pete Woodruff in "The Man From Space" and the telephone installer in "The Babysitter." Made a few notable television appearances after The Honeymooners, in episodes of The Phil Silvers Show, McHale's Navy, Perry Mason (interestingly alongside an actress by the name of Joyce Meadows), The Munsters, Bewitched and Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.

Ethel Owen (1893-1997) - Best known as Alice's mother or Aunt Ethel. Although not credited as having appeared in anything after The Honeymooners, I found it interesting to learn that Mrs. Owen lived to be 103 years old, outliving her own daughter, Pamela Britton (1923-1974).

Cliff Hall (1894-1972) - Played the Raccoon Lodge President in "Here Comes The Bride," "The Man From Space," "Something Fishy," and "The Deciding Vote." Also appeared in episodes of Studio One, Route 66, The Patty Duke Show, The Defenders, Mister Ed and Bewitched.

Victor Rendina (1916-1985) - Best known to Honeymooners fans as Ziggy from "Funny Money." Mr. Rendina went on to appear in episodes of All In The Family and Baretta and perhaps made his most memorable appearance as Philip Tattaglia in the 1972 film The Godfather, alongside Marlon Brando and Al Pacino.

Jack Davis (1914-1992) - Played Mr. Parker in "The $99,000 Answer" and a police officer in "Funny Money." Mr. Davis went on to appear in episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show, McHale's Navy and I Dream of Jeannie, in addition to the two 1990 films Sorority Girls and the Creature From Hell and Side Out. Another interesting thing to note is that Mr. Davis actually made an appearance on the television series Captain Video and His Video Rangers in 1949.

Bill Zuckert (1915-1997) - Mr. Garrity in "The $99,000 Answer." Besides playing this recurring character (who was often mentioned but only seen in this episode), Mr. Zuckert also made an impressive number of television appearances, including: Dennis the Menace, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The Bing Crosby Show, Lassie, Perry Mason, Family Affair, Green Acres, Batman, Star Trek, The Mod Squad, Hawaii Five-O, Bewitched, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Partridge Family, Rhoda, Little House on the Prairie, Disneyland, Mary Tyler Moore, Maude, The Bob Newhart Show and Charlie's Angels. Mr. Zuckert also appeared in three Columbo TV movies: Negative Reaction (1974), A Case of Immunity (1975) and Murder in Malibu (1990), as well as the two 1994 films Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult, alongside Leslie Nielsen, and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, as Mr. Finkle, alongside Jim Carrey.

Ethel Owen lived to be 103! What a long life...that's amazing.

Was Frank Marth in the remake *With Jessica Simpson* of The Dukes of Hazzard? I never saw it (or the originals) so I'm just wondering. If it's the remake that's great that he's still out working.

Yeah, I was really surprised when I found that out. She lived longer than Jackie and Audrey! Who would've guessed?

No, he appeared on the original show, as Agent Caldwell in the 1981 episode "Diamonds in the Rough." The last thing Frank Marth is credited for on IMDb is 1994's Loving Deadly.

I'll add that George Petrie was married to Patti Pope, who was in at least one episode. I think it's one where she and George's character elope. Frank Marth also starred in Dirty Dozen the Series from 1988, which was based on the hit WWII movie. If I'm not mistaken, Eddie Hanley used to do Frito Lay commercials.
