I have often wondered, in the (beginning and ending) credits. Are those scenes taken from the episodes? Are they promotional scenes? Thank you for your consideration and time, thanks again.

Dear Mindy and COEF fans,

I don't remember seeing any of the beginning or closing scenes in any of the episodes - I think they shot those seperately. They would often reuse them in different episoes. The crew members called them 'peanuts' and they were often based on their own real-life experiences that they would have when they weren't filming.
