Oh No Heartbreaking SEGMENTS...

There have been a lot of missing persons cases that make me sad. A lot of unexplained deaths that make me sad and or angry. But the one case that I remember that really makes me sad is about a girl (sorry, I forgot her name) who's Grandmother was hit by a car and taken to a hospital. A good semeratain went to the hospital and stayed with her. A nurse told her that her Grandmother was ok and she could go up and see her. When she went up to visit, another nurse told her that there had been a terrible mistake and her Grandmother had actually died. The good semeratain stayed with her until family arrived and then just left. This was a lost loves case.

It's sad not only because of how she found out her Grandmother was dead, but the girl spoke of her with much love. I remember that this girl had a rocky relationship with her divorced parents, and she looked forward to spending time with her Grandmother who was pretty much a safe haven for her.

Sorry to say but that first nurse, I'd like to punch her in the face.

OMG. I am totally with you. That case made me CRY, and I don't like the Lost Love segments. It was so good that she found the woman who sat with her while she heard the news that her grandma was dead.

But, yes. I refuse to watch this segment more than once every few years. It's too sad for me.

I remember that one.....they were just about to go accross the street to a diner when the Grandmother was struck down by a car, how tragic.

Also, wasn't there an update at the end.....didn't she find the good samaritian?

I was very happy that the girl found the woman who comforted her when her grandmother was hit by that car. The update showed the woman telling her that if her grandmother had lived, she would have been very proud of her.

This was a wonderful woman. She comforted a complete stranger in her time of need and stayed by her side the whole time offering a shoulder to cry on when the doctor said that the grandmother had died.

As sad is this segment was, it was a bright spot in a way too showing that there are SOME good kind hearted people left in this world.

One heartbreaking one that sticks out to me was the story of that old Judge who was blind, and a lady was hired to take care of him at his house. As time went on, the lady stole and sold all of his family possessions and liquidated his bank accounts, leaving him broke. They showed a scene in the recreation of the man sitting in the kitchen, eating and there was filth all around him.....it literally made me so angry that someone could do that to another human being.

On an update, they announced that the woman had been captured, but the Judge had passed away and since there was no one to press charges, they had to let her go. Unbelieveable. There's a special place in hell for that woman, I am convinced of it.

Another one that comes to mind is the Edward Harold Bell case. The victim's mother watched her son be gunned down right in front of her home in Pasadena, Texas. This case has been discussed on other threads.
