I love My Name is Earl.. it is one of my favorite new shows

After I got the Gomer DVD season one... I totally realized that Randy (Earl's Brother in the show) is doing a Gomer impression.

Watch My name is Earl and season one.

The way Gomer talks to Sgt Carter & the way Randy talks to Earl.

That innocence, clearly the actor was a fan of the Gomer Pyle show

Thats possible. But Randy seems slower than Gomer don't you think?

Yeah I think your right.. He is slower, but I do think the actor took a little of his acting motivation from Jim Nabors & really this first season of Gomer.
