Default BEST & WORST at the Oscars...

Fashion, hair, etc. Tell us what you felt was the best and worst last night...

BEST DRESS & SEXIEST: Helen Mirren

WORST HAIR: Cameron Diaz...as Janice stated, it looked like her hair went thru a cuisinart... Not to mention the color was horrific. Also, she was so fidgety when she was on stage...STOP MOVING AROUND CAMERON!!!!

UGLIEST COUPLE: Jennifer Lopez and Skeletor aka her husband...oooohhh, I was hoping the camera would point to their faces when Ben Affleck came out on stage. I wonder what went through their minds as Ben was up there. Hmmmmm... Seriously, that dress did not look good on J-ho. She looked really good one Oscar appearance when she had her hair up and wore a long, poofy dress. Almost Cinderella-like. (Did I just compliment her???? )

WORST SHOES: Ok, you really had to look close to see this. On E Entertainment, Celine Dion was shown and the camera panned down to her feet, you could easily see a toe struggling to come out of the shoe, there was a strap of some sort and one toe was on one side and a toe on the other side of that just bulging.

TOO MUCH DRESS: Penelope Cruz. Nice dress, but it didn't need all that feathery stuff on the back. Simple would have sufficed.

BEST TUXEDO: Leo DeCaprio, Jack Nicholson, George Clooney...

WORST TUXEDO: Spike Lee...WHITE JACKET??????

WORST INTERVIEW ON THE RED CARPET: Again, Spike Lee...again yacking away abt "black history month, black this, black that..." gimme a break!

Helen Mirren is a foxy older lady!

No offense to JLO fans, but, her dress was ugly. IMO

The funniest part of the night was the skit that Jack Black, Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly did. It was hilarious.

Martin Scorsese winning for best director was loooong overdue.

Ellen did a fine job as host.

Ellen was great. When she mentioned how America voted for Al Gore...

The shadow dancers...I really liked how they did the gun. Awesome.

BEST HEAD: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jack Nicholson

Jack's shaved head for his movie role as a cancer patient was VERY sexy!

Helen Mirren was glowing! She looked the best - and good for her, she outshone women half her age!

I, for one, hated Nicole Kidman's dress. She had this stupid red bow on her shoulder, I thought she looked terrible. Anne Hathaway's dress was just funny. Would have been nice if Meryl Streep had dressed up - a little. But she's Meryl Streep - she can do whatever she wants

Naomi Watts & Kate Winslet looked fabulous (as always).

I loved that part!!

Women's dresses - I really like Nicole Kidman but her red dress. I didn't like that bow on her right shoulder at all. She would've looked awesome without the bow.

Reese Witherspoon looked great - both dress & hair. Cate Blanchett looked good, too. When Emily Blunt & Anne Hathaway presented, I liked Emily's dress, but did not like Anne's

I also thought Queen Latifah looked good, too.

Helen Mirren's dress was fantastic! She looked great. "The Queen" deserved all the awards it got, the movie was fantastic.

I also agree with what everyone said here, especially Irene.

I disagree. She's too thin. Her face looks weird now.

Anyhoo, I liked the oscar show last night.

As mentioned Will Farrel, Jack Black and John C. Reiley's musical number was very funny.

Steve Carrell and Greg Kinnear were also very funny presenting an award.

Ellen tellling Steven Spielberg how to take a picture - brilliant! She will definatly be hosting next year.

Tom Hanks had a great line about writers when he was up there presenting something - if anyone knows where I can get video of it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Best Irony - Jennifer Lopez introducing Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson - two women who can actually sing!

Nicole Kidman - my God, how much work has she had done on her face?

I totally agree with you. On the surface, Reese looked fine, but her hair wasn't flattering with it that long. It looks better short and cute. But what I really noticed was something in her expression - she looked miserable. She was smiling, but pursing her lips and she just did not look happy.

She is still reeling from her divorce I suppose.

Cool

My favorites were:
Ellen tellling Steven Spielberg how to take a picture(Very Funny)
Also the dancers were very cool.
Anything Ellen did was great too. She was a great host. I hope to see her host the Oscars next year.
