Anyone not have ANY? I really want this show but want to buy the best format. I don't want to buy this and then be disappointed by the sound fluctuations only to find out in the fall on the re-release in stores all the problems have been fixed.

We fans who rushed to get the whole series, of course, wanted it to be perfect and are also the kind of people who notice all the fine details.
The sound doesn't fluctuate often. I've found it to be minor and adjusting the volume slightly fixes things right up. I have wondered if the problem is in the original masters or in the making of the DVD.

I didn't notice the difference in sound at all. If there is any, it's just minor.
