Default Miss Bliss at Zack and Kelly's Wedding?

Wouldn't it have been great to see Miss Bliss attending Zack and Kelly's wedding to further tie in the two series? Miss Bliss always seemed to have a fond appreciation for Zack. It's too bad that she never made any appearances on Saved by the Bell.

I think it would have been too strange. She was only his teacher for a year. Would you invite your 8th grade history teacher to your wedding?

I think not.

Maybe, if she really touched your life in some way. They could've have invented a "lost" episode where she really helped him in a much larger way than what we did see, adn that's why he invited her to his wedding.
Or they could've met again by chance, and Zach remembered how great she was to him and invited her.

I love Miss Bliss! I know many tend to criticize the Miss Bliss episodes as being inferior, but I thought she was a very caring teacher.

I know what you mean. They should've made a few mentions of her on Saved By The Bell.

On the other hand, though, there were a lot of continuity issues between the two. For instance, Good Morning Miss Bliss took place in Indiana - while Saved By The Bell took place in California. Then there was mention of Screech having a brother in Good Morning Miss Bliss, while he was established as an only child on Saved By The Bell. Then there was also the fact that Zack had apparently been friends with Jessie and Kelly his whole life, even though they weren't in Good Morning Miss Bliss.

I think they should've kept Miss Bliss, though - because I've really liked her a lot as a teacher.

In my opinion, Haley Mills was too big of a star to hire only to keep as as a background character. They kept Mr. Belding because his wacky sense of humor meshed well with SBTB, while Miss Bliss was too serious.

It seems as if with "Good Morning Miss Bliss" they tried to be a legitimate sitcom that was to be taken seriously (i.e., "Facts of Life.") With the new (original series) they created a separate genre--which has influenced other successful TV shows like "Lizzie McGuire," "That's So Raven," and "Hannah Montana."

I suppose they would've had to change the student cast every year, since the idea of Miss Bliss teaching a higher grade every year is a bit improbable. Then again, I know a lot of high school teachers teach many grades - instead just one. Still, Miss Bliss seemed something like a homeroom teacher - and, from what my understanding is, homeroom teachers are generally assigned by grades.

It would have made more sense for Nikki or Mikey to be at Zack's wedding than miss bliss. Miss Bliss didn't have a close relationship with zack, he was just one of her students

Not close enough to be at his wedding

She was probably a fair teacher who did her best to not play favourites, but it does seem like she sort of gave special attention to Zack and his gang. So I guss they were somewhat close.
