Default Next Time I see Bill Cosby in Philly i will ask him-"WHY wasn't your Show based in...

PHILADELPHIA?????? Since you had things in the script that was connected to Philly like

The CHEYNEY Sweatshirt he wore was a College near Philly

The racetrack that Bill was running on was located in West Philly

Cliff and Elvin and martin was watching a Philadelphia Eagles Playoff Game

The show "DANCE MANIA" was similar to a show based in Philly called-"Dancin on Air" during that time the episode aired

Cliff referred to HOAGIES and CHEESESTEAKES many times

The college that Vanessa attended called LINCOLN was another college right outside Philly

My Little brother met Bill cosby and took a picture with him so If i ever get the chance I will make sure I ask why the show wasn;t based in your hometown.

Didn't Bill wear sweatshirts from other colleges outside of New York as well?

He wore a Duke sweatshirt on one episode.
Duke knocked Temple out of NCAA tournament that year and he had lost a bet on the game.
I noticed he wore some other shirts of teams that played in the same conference as Temple.

Look what I found Solomon, Bill was wearing sweatshirts from different black colleges:

"People didn't even realize that they were being told some things," said Dates, referring to subtle symbols in “The Cosby Show” such as a sign that hung on Theo Huxtable’s door about ending apartheid in South Africa, Cosby’s signature sweatshirts promoting black colleges that became a staple and other subliminal messages placed throughout the Huxtable home.

I guess his heart was in Philly then. Or he didn't want to make too many references to the fact that it was supposed to be NY...hell, I don't know.

That is a good question Solomon. He represented Philly strong on his show. It really didn't make sense that it was based in Brooklyn.

And you know he had the control to base it in Philly which is why it's so puzzling that he didn't-lol I don't think i heard the Empire State Building mentioned at all in 8 years
