Sales for Kate & Allie: The Complete Third Season were very strong. So, it is important that we e-mail VEI to let them know we want more Kate & Allie on dvd. UPDATE: I received an e-mail from VEI and they are aiming for the end of the year to release Season 4of Kate & Allie. Great news!

I'm so glad to hear about Season 4 - I'm glad sales of 3 were good enough, and that VEI took a chance on releasing a series that many others passed over because they didn't think it would sell.

I hope they are working on Season 5 at the same time.

I know. Wouldn't it be great for them to release 2 sets at the same time? Probably won't happen though. But...we are halfway through the series. So, after Season 4, there are only 2 more seasons left to release.

VEI is getting the upperhand in releasing this show. Hey, Universal screwed up big time. They didn't see the show's potential on dvd. So, thanks truly goes to VEI for giving us this great series.

I know that Kate & Allie wasn't the biggest hit of the 80's at all, but the fans who did watch it were very loyal. The writing was brilliant and Jane Curtin is , in my opinion, still one of the best comedy actors ever - her timing and delivery were spot on all the time.

It wouldn't have taken very much market research to see that releasing this on DVD would be a winning proposition for everyone.

Got a email from tvshowsondvd and they released Season 4 ar cover and it's set to be released on July 3rd. So you can go and pre-order now from Amazon.ca

Thanks Brieanna! I just saw that too and I wasted no time in pre-ordering it. I can't wait. Perfect timing because I've been watching the previous sets a lot lately. The coverart is beautiful! I love it! With only 2 sets left, I think VEI will be releasing this show in its entirety.

One week before Season 4 is released!!! We only have 2 more sets after this to complete the series on dvd. Right now, Season 4 is selling extremely well on amazon.ca. It's at the #6 spot as I last checked.
