Default Total number of episodes?

I'm transferring the shows to DVD and I was curious if anyone knew how many were made. I think 23.

I figured around 25 or so. This show was very short lived. I recall it being on CBS in 1979 area. Catherine Hicks and Corey Feldman would go onto stardom and Jack Warden was already a long time star. The most people I know never even heard of this show.

It couldn't of been all bad if Jack Warden was in it.

Don't forget Tricia Cast. She went on to star in "Its Your Move" and then a year later, she went on to star in "The Young And The Restless" as Nina in 1986. She took time off in 2001 then came back in 2008 with the show on the recurring basis and was last seen on the show in 2014.

I once heard that TV shows that are relegated to Friday nights are sent to a "TV Graveyard " where bad TV shows "go to die."
It seems that also Saturday nights have a reputation for being a bad time slot for TV shows. I am not sure why. Maybe it is because there is sports programming at that time on other stations?
Maybe most people are not at home to watch TV on Saturday nights as they are out enjoying the weekend?

But wasn't "All In The Family" broadcast on Saturday nights, at least in the later episodes?
Of course when TV shows are moved from their regular time slot it tends to mean that they Jumped The Shark. It means that they are moved to a time slot that is not statistically the best to get viewers. I am not sure why it works that way. You can understand that since the show is no longer considered "good" it is moved to a time slot that it is not important if few people watch it anymore.
But on the other hand, why not move it to a time slot that might save it and move it where more people would watch it?
I guess I should start a different thread about this.

Anyway, another reason why The Bad New Bears (the TV show) did not last very long on TV is because it consisted largely or predominantly of a cast of kids.

I am not sure if it is the shortest-lived TV show ever. I guess that is another thread I can start.

Saturday was not the deadzone it has become back in the 70's and 80's. CBS, ABC and NBC all had success on those nights.
