like the archies brady kids j5 an the osmonds cartoons did the beatles ever sing in there silhouettes with a clorful background

..acquired the rights to produce an animated "BEATLES" cartoon in 1965, they used the group's original Parlophone/Capitol recordings to fashion the stories and "sing-a-long segments" seen in each episode (which included some very imaginative backgrounds). Their voices, however, were "recreated" by two people: Paul Frees {"John" and "George"} and Lance Percival {"Paul" and "Ringo"}, because the real Beatles wanted nothing to do with their animated counterparts...at least, until the final production stages of "Yellow Submarine".
