Sorry, the search kills the server when there are 3.4+ million posts indexed. There's not enough horsepower to handle that many searches in quick succession. Why would you need to refresh the new posts page more than once every 60 seconds? Are there that many new posts being created by the minute? I think most people would rather have faster loading pages than unlimited searching.

Yeah, I've saw forums with 5 minute waits between searches.
