be apart of the deal and the Lakers said-NO WAY!!. The Lakers were willing to give up anyone outside of Kobe, Odom, and Bynum and that's why the Nets and Laker couldn't set up a deal. So Kidd remains with the Nets. Heard this on ESPN

I only gave it a 45% chance of happening. This years before trading deadline trading is boring. Some stupid deals were thrown out.

Miami gets: Stromile swift, 1st round pick
Memphis gets: James Posey and some guy who i've never heard of. A pretty good deal I think it was a 2007 1st round pick meaning miami would have a chance to get possibly the #1 pick!

I heard the Lakers were trying to give the Nets junk like Kwame Brown and draft picks but the Nets insisted on Bynum. I knew the Lakers would never give up Bynum he has just got too much upside. At least now the Nets have a shot a making the playoffs with the Heat's Dwayne wade being injured. Poor Pat Riley he comes back when the Heat start winning and then his star player goes down, Karma can be a b****! Stan Van Gundy must be laughing.
