Hi all. I'm a big HOTC fan but it has been years and years since I've seen some episodes and this is one of them. All I remember about this one was that the class did the play "Grease" at the end but I don't remember anything else from the episode. Can someone be kind enough to fill me in? I would really appreciate it. Thanks! |

This episode is split into 3 parts (3 acts, 1 episode). The first is The Announcement. The IHP finds out Fillmore is holding auditions for Grease but nobody wants to try out because they are too busy with schoolwork. Mr. Moore eventually convinces them and they all get parts (except Dennis, Arvid, Simone and Janice who have to work backstage). Through all this time, Alan is the only one who does not audition and wants nothing to do with the play. Part two is called The Crisis. Mr. Moore finds out Alan's father had passed away a few years earlier and tries to persuade him to join the cast. Alan refuses until a boy in the play quits and Alan says he will take his place. Act three is Opening Night. The kids put on Grease and everyone has a great time. Even Alan!

Thank you so much, it's coming back to me now.
I wish there was a way I could see this episode again but right now, it looks like In2TV eventually showing this episode is my only hope and option. I really wish this show was in syndication again or on DVD. |

Tell me about it, it makes no sense. I don't understand why they don't put this out. Even if they sold it as a series set, I would still buy it. It was one of my favorite shows and I keep checking In2TV everyday to see if new episodes have been added.
At this point, I would even be willing to buy copied tapes or DVD's off of someone just to have them. |
