When I play these episodes on either my PC or laptop, the bottom portion of the video is warped looking... not much of it, but about the bottom-most half inch of the picture. It can be kind of distracting. Is everyone having this problem or did I just get a defective set?

It may not play well on your PC or laptop for some reason. Have you tried a regular dvd player?
There were some posts about the recent set of "The Golden Girls" where this type of problem occurred on laptops as well. I would try it on a dvd player first. If it still happens, then it's probably a defective copy. Hope this helps.

I tried it on a regular DVD player and it looks fine.
The problem is that I like to watch DVDs on my laptop fairly often and it is distracting. I just purchased Season 3 and it plays fine on my laptop without any distortion. I think I may contact VEI and see if they have any ideas. |

Try that. It may have something to do with formatting. Oh! I just remembered. Someone who had a problem with "The Golden Girls" also mentioned that changing the settings on your player can fix the problem. Not sure about that though. Let us know what you uncover. Hope you solve it.
