Default anyone ever notice....

...there was never any bathroom on any of the ships? I just thought of that while reading another thread in THE BRADY BUNCH forum.
They never even mentioned using the head! And one was never shown or mentioned on any of the places they visited.

No; that's right, I remember now. Once on a first season episode of ENTERPRISE, Capt. Archer and the others were answering some questions from schoolkids and one of them was "Do you ever go to the bathroom in space"?

And I remember reading somewhere once that on the TNG bridge there was a head, although you never saw anyone go in or out of it. It was beside the ramp.

Actually once on a star trek special hosted by jonathon Frakes that was being made at the time Star Trek Generations was being filmed, Frakes asked have you ever wondered where the bathroom was on the enterprise D? and he was showing a sketch of the enterprise d and said well there was only 1 and he pointed somewhere on the sketch and said and here it is, it was like on deck 25 or something. Actually i think I still have that special somewhere lying around.

Default I Gotta Go!

And also notice that while on a strange planet nobody ever said "Captain, I've got to find a place to do a number 2." We're just supposed to assume they did it somewhere else. Of course, we hardly ever see them eating or sleeping too. But we know they did.

Since all they ever ate was "replicated" food maybe they never had to go!!

I remember once on Voyager in one scene they showed Bellana coming out of the shower in the bathroom in her quarters.. And I remember reading in one of the books once there was a scene where Data was going to the bathroom.

Another question that comes up is where would they dump all that human waste? Out in space? Would it freeze up in space?
