Default E-mail USA network to bring back Wings

I recently sent an e-mail to USA Network asking them to bring back Wings. They still play Coach at 6 and 6:30am, why not play Wings at 5 and 5:30am instead of infomercials.

Everybody e-mail them!

I thought their rights to the show expired a few years ago. Besides, it wouldn't fit in with their new format anymore anyway. Didn't you know that USA unofficially changed their name to the Crime Drama netowrk a couple of years ago?

I think they overplay Law and Order: SVU a heck of a lot more than they ever overplayed Wings. They air it several times a day every day, plus their bimonthly marathon I think they air Law & Order: CI a lot too, but I really can't tell the difference. I never liked the L&O shows, or crime shows in general.

My thought was to play sitcoms overnight instead of infomercials. They play Coach everyday 7 days a week, why not have some other sitcoms play in the earlier hours as well.

Here's a copy of my e-mail:

I would like to say I really enjoy your network. My favorite shows on your station are Coach, Jag, and Monk... but I have to say I really miss the sitcom Wings when it was played on USA. The worst thing about your network is the infomercials that are played overnight. I suggest, if I may, to stop infomercials in the night hours and play old sitcoms like TV land and Nick @ Nite. Wings would be the most important to bring back, but other lovable sitcoms (not found on TV anymore) could also fill the night schedule such as Mr. Belvedere, Charles in Charge, Just the 10 of Us, Herman's Head, Major Dad, Alf, and Gilligan's Island to name a few.

At least bring back Wings!

unfortunately they get paid a lot of money for infomercials and do not have to pay fees for the rights for sitcoms so I think they will keep playing infomercials. I would like it if they had alternate days for dramas or just keep the dramas at night and have comedies during the daytime hours.

I think TBS would be a better fit for Wings. They really need to add some more sitcoms to their line-up. Of course, I don't see them cutting back on their airings of Friends, Seinfeld, and Everybody Loves Raymond anytime soon.

It's all about rights, and Nick Networks still hold it for another couple years, which is why Wings airs on Saturday mornings on TV Land. And as Kristen said, USA is now the Law and Order/Monk/Golf network. Much like Nick at Nite is now the Full House/Cosby/Fresh P*ss/Roseanne channel. Our only hope is that Paramount keeps cranking out the Wings seasons, which is nearly to four .
