Looking for the Pilot Episode of Star Trek - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I believe it was titled The Menagerie (1) and The Menagerie (2). It aired on Tvland last night but they only showed part 2 would like to get the complete episode I also listed on the sitcom page also thanks Dianne

menagerie was the pilot rehashed with kirk and spock. i have that version plus 2 other versions. the pilot (without kirk and spock) with Christopher Pike, and another version with black and white scenes inserted that were edited out

Actually, thats not the pilot, thats a 2 parter that used footage from the unaired pilot in it. The actual pilot "The Cage" does not have Dr. Mcoy, Kirk, Checkov etc... in it......

I have both pilots if you need them (The Cage and the Kirk pilot, Where No Man Has Gone Before).

The Menagerie sucks, I'd rather just watch The Cage. I have The Cage all in color; apparently the found a color version of the stuff that was only in black and white before. So I think they shot two slightly different versions of The Cage. So that's three pilots and counting. Where No Man Has Gone Before is shown as a Trek episode. You can tell it's a pilot because their uniforms are different.
