Hello I have a question that has been buggig me for a long time. IN the MTM theme song when they say "who can take a nothing(is it DAY or DATE) and suddenly make it all seem worth while.I have listened over and over and I can't tell which word is being said.Could someone please settle this for me.It would be much appreciated. Thanks Tim

I had always thought the word was "date". However since I read the lyrics here, the word "day" seems to fit better. I have not seen it in awhile so I may be mistaken but when the singer sings the line, "who can take a nothing day...", I think on the screen Mary is walking with a group of children. Like a girl scout troup or some kind of group. If the line said "date" then I think it would have shown Mary walking with a man wearing a suit. (Mary would have only dated a high-class executive type.)
