Best: I loved the Chevy convertibles driven by Samantha and Darrin Stephens on Bewitched. Since Chevy was one of the show's main sponsors (Quaker Oats being the other), Elizabeth Montgomery and her then-husband, director/producer Bill Asher received cars from them.
Worst: Steve Urkel's BMW Isetta (sp?) on Family Matters. I'm 5'8 and would never, ever fit into a car that small. Forget about driving on the freeway next to the SUVs and big rigs!! No way!!

Best- Any of the Vettes that Tod and Buz had on Route 66.
The GTO Tony Nelson had on I Dream of Jeannie was neat too, though a bit too large for my tastes, but still a nice car. Worst- That old car they were going to drive to California on I Love Lucy. lol That AMC...Matador I think...that Pete Malloy drove on the last season of Adam-12. That was one of the ugliest things ever made. AMC made some fugly automobiles. |

I think the worst sitcom car is the Flintstone's car. You'd really hurt your feet.

Since lots of my faves have ben mentioned, I add a few others ;
Best - B.A.'s Kick ass GMC van from the A-Team Worst - Gilligan's bamboomobile from Gilligan's Island. Pedal power? Surely the Professor could have built an internal combustion engine out of something...

Greg Brady's car was a piece of sh$t.
Uncle Jesse on Full House had a really beautiful red convertible (I think) that I think he named Sally. That being said was it a mustang??? I don't know but it was a very nice car. |
