Default Why does it seem like every time there is a Good Times Marathon on TV Land it's

always more POST JAMES eps aired during the marathon than the eps with James. Like last night, it was a 6 episode marathon and out of 6 eps there was only one ep with James and the next 5 was POST JAMES eps. Why do they always do this?? I can't figure it out

Like TVLand makes sense?!? I guess the people over there feel like the producers of GT felt and that is that Jimmie Walker was the star of the show.

Like I said, the people running TV Land probably think that viewers would rather watch JJ than James.

And to me, GT was abt James and Florida to begin with. J.J. just ended up being the "star" later on.

I agree with you, but TV Land doesn't think so.

I still enjoy the show, but James was the backbone of it.

I was thinking the same thing. They really do focus heavily on the post James episodes. Who knows what the rationale is. But regardless I still love me some GT.

Yea that annoys me too but TV Land has been getting on my nerves in general anyway. And they showed another episode in that marathon during the James era I think "Michael's Big Fall" but James did not appear in the episode.
