SALT SALT AND MORE SALT...anyone else love salt? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

My family picks on me because I have to have salt on my food all the time. I can't help it. It seems like food tastes so bland. If it isn't salsa, then it's salt that I must put on my food. Today, we stopped by McDonald's and my daughter and my boyfriend hated the fries because there was "too much salt on them"...God, I was in heaven. I loved them. They made fun of me saying how the doctors will one day find two pounds of salt in my arteries.

Irene, I dub thee my "Sister In Salt". Me too...I would MUCH rather have something salty than sweet. My sister one year said she was going to buy me a salt lick for Christmas.

Now, I'm going to open a bag of chips...sea salt and vinegar. YUMMY!!!

I used to love it when I was younger. Now I absolutely despise the stuff in anything more than a mild dash.

I love salt myself, but not as much as you Irene. I've cut way back, but I salt almost all of my food. I'm concerned about the blood pressure, but yeah, salt is great.

Haha, I have normal blood pressure, and I looooove salt too. Just had some popcorn a little while ago, and I had a lot of salt on it.

I don't salt EVERYTHING, but I much prefer salty/spicy foods over sweet foods.

I love salt. I don't eat as much as I use too though, when I was younger I use to eat the leftover salt out of pretzles bags.

I am a Saltoholic! But unfortunately I have had to really cut back on salt because I have developed high blood pressure.

I have family history of heart disease. All that salt gets hardened in your veins and become salt mines in there. I use as little as possible or substitues like Garlic Salt .

I never use salt. It's already added to so much nowadays that adding more just seems like overkill.

That's why my boyfriend said the doctors (most likely the coroner) would find two pounds of salt in mine.
