Perhaps I’ve gotten too obsessed – I actually ended up dreaming about the show this morning! :-D

It was like watching an episode. I remember Benson sitting at his Budget Director’s desk, wearing his gray suit, and saying something to the Governor about states’ rights and the federal government.

I’ve also been reading “Team of Rivals” so that makes sense; everything’s meshing in my brain.

LOL--what a coincidence.....I dreamed about the show last night too. All I remember was getting a hug from Governor Gatling. (I'm sure Sigmund Freud would have a field day with that one!)

I've had two dreams since then, but only recall one. Marcy was expecting a call from some prospective employers -- not the state -- but she was out when phone rang. Clayton was there and picked it up and he told her (when she came back) that he had turned down the job offer for her, and insisted on a higher salary. She was absolutely horrified when she heard that, but when he said that they'd agreed to the increase, she was amazed.

Clayton was just so Clayton in his attitude and speech!

I can't remember having a dream about the show in some time but I do recall one I had a long time ago. Benson and Gene where sitting in the governors office talking about something and Katie as a teenager walks in. She was wearing a hideous looking school band uniform, holding a baritone horn and looked upset. She said, "Dad can I quit the band". (The governor) "Katie why on earth would you quit band I thought you loved it". (Katie) "But dad this new uniform looks so stupid and ugly I look like a total dork wearing it. Gene looked at Benson and they both started laughing hysterically. The uniform had a green jacket with silver glitter on the front and the pants were pink with big silver glitter strips down the sides. Sorry I had to edit this but I got it mixed up with another dream that didn't have anything to do with the show at all.
