That lady was a knockout. What happened to her and her friends was awful beyond words. I could kill Manson with my bare hands.

I'd seen those before, actually. I went through a real Sharon Tate phase not that long ago, and watched all her movies. I think she looked the most beautiful in Eye of the Devil. That woman was so gorgeous, but also somehow looked sad.

There's a lot of info on her and her family (and her killers) on youtube. Look at Patti Tate, that woman looked so much like her sister it was spooky. Thank God she and her mother have kept those killers behind bars.

Why are the Manson people still alive eating up good tax money?? I think it was Susan Atkins who actually killed her. The freak has a website. I checked out her book Child of Satan, Child of God from the library. She said Jesus appeared in her cell i n a bright glowing white light. Whatever Susan. I know you want out.

I wonder if Sharon had lived what would she have done when Roaman molested that little girl back in '77??

Isn't Sharon's mother and sister both dead now too?

It's often been said that the Manson family will never see the light of day....that the American psyche couldn't handle it. Sharon's late mother Doris and her sister Patti fought tirelessly on her behalf at all of the murderer's parole hearings. Patti lost her life to breast cancer at age 42.

I know. That was so sad. Both of those sisters died young and beautiful. Fortunately there's a third sister, Debra Tate, who's still alive and keeping up the battle.

There's a lot of debate over whether it was Susan Atkins or Tex Watson who actually killed her - sounds like it was probably both. But from where we stand nowadays, Tex has at least admitted his part in the Tate/LaBianca murders - Susan still denies that she ever did anything. I find that infuriating. And she has the guts to preach to us about God's love. She's seriously twisted.

Just watched Valley of the Dolls again a few nights ago. Sharon looked flawless in every single shot. Bless her soul.

I have watched Valley of the Dolls since I was little with my mom. It's one of my favorite movies. Sharon Tate was so beautiful, what happened to her was so tragic.

She was born the same year as my mom. So so sad as she was also 9 months pregnant. I hope Mr. Polanski would not have messed around with that little girl had Sharon lived. Such a waste...

thanks Janice

reason I said "nevermind" was I thought 'well, i'll just look it up myself!'

I have always heard of the "Manson Family" but never really looked into finding out about it....

My mother was pregnant with my brother when Sharon was murdered in August of 1969. My brother was born two months later. I think about that sometimes, how her son would be the same age as my brother.

I've always thought that too. I seriously think that he's never been completely balanced since it happened. He's gone through so much - losing his parents in the Holocaust, then his pregnant wife, his best friend (Voyteck), his best friend's girlfriend (Gibby Folgier), and Sharon's friend (Jay Sebring). And they all died for no reason. There was no motive at all, and they were butchered mercilessly. I don't know how you can begin to recover from that. I wonder if he ever really did.
