No wonder Little Ricky is never seen playing in the living room! Have you ever noticed how filthy the Ricardo's apartment is? Yes, Lucy kept an emaculate house on the surface and was seen cleaning a lot, but check out the actual set. The carpet is full of spots, stains and debris and occasionally spots can be seen on the walls!

Being that the show is in black and white, I can honestly say, I have never noticed that. NOW, the Mertzes apt. (before they cleaned and redecorated) was HORRIBLE. That was a skanky apt.

The Mertzes were the LANDLORDS!! Was Fred THAT cheap that he couldn't fix it up sooner??

Exactly. I mean really now...how cheap was that old man? No wonder they didn't have kids, he was too cheap! He didn't want to spend more money than he had to.
