Default Question about the Wendy Camp disappearance

This may have been asked before but what were the circumstances of the "credible" sighting of Wendy's daughter Cynthia in the months after the disappearance?

My gut says this sighting has to be erroneous.

Sorry for the blatant misspelling in the subject. The edit feature won't let me correct it. :-(

I fixed it.

As for the credible sighting what was frustrating was RS didn't give any details at all. They just said that Cynthia was spotted by someone who knows the family and police think it was a credible sighting. I can't believe either that she was spotted. First off months later anyone who knew Cynthia's family would certainly have known by then she was missing and would have contacted authorities so she could have been found. Secondly I think Cynthia is certainly with Wendy and Lisa as they disappeared together. I'm not sure if you were around then JS but Wendy's sister did post on here several months ago. Seemed like a very nice person. She did answer some of our questions about it so here's the link. Note: She quotes some comments of mine and actually answered the questions within the quotes but it looks like she didn't post anything so just a heads up.

Well, thanks for pointing me to that thread. It was an interesting read. I wonder if it is possible that this mystery witness was someone on Chad Noe's side of the family. It could just be a lame attempt to shift the focus away from Chad Noe. It doesn't make sense in any other context.

I was just thinking the same thing. Plus don't you think its strange that according to Wendy's sister the police won't tell their family who supposedly spotted her? Its like the "witness" who came forward wanted to remain anonymous which in itself is strange - who would spot a missing child and then want to remain anonymous?

Chad Noe is so guilty. For the longest time he has a problem with Wendy seeing her own children. Then on the day he has a change of mind, Wendy and two relatives disappear? I don't buy Chad's story.

Thanks for letting us know that Aisha. I for one am glad to see them in jail right where they belong. That is the first time we've ever got to see a picture of Chad's mom as she refused to be interviewed in the UM segment. Maybe some big developments can be found while they're there so they'll never get out. As far as media coverage, I would call or email any news stations I can think of. Of course the local tv station or newspaper where they disappeared from would probably be willing to bring it back up given the anniversary is approaching. Also try some of the national cable news channels. Greta Van Susteren's show on Fox News Channel is always profiling missing person as well as Nancy Grace's show on Headline News so you can always try and contact them. Also try America's Most Wanted and see what they say. I would definitely mention to them that this case was profiled on Unsolved Mysteries so they know that they did receive national exposure in the past. Good luck and keep us updated!

Hi Aisha,

Just count me in the number of people out here who send you and your family all of my best wishes and support. I have thought about Wendy for years since I first saw her case on UM and do hope that one day you'll have some answers and peace.

Thanks for the update regarding The JailBiddies. I hope they enjoy their time in the stir.

You're a loving sister to carry on in Wendy's name. Best to you!
