This means Eddie will continue to make bullsh*it movies. I can't believe how far he has fallen. What he needs to do is take full ownership of his company. He has two white managers that own half of Eddie Murphy Productions. No wonder Spike Lee criticized that clown. Spike Lee's movies probably don't get the numbers at the box office like Eddie's does, but at least he got full controll of his company. Eddie is a true example of a sellout.

I didn't intend to bring race into this, it just happen to be brought up because I feel that's probably playing a big difference in the movies that Eddie is making.

Why??? If he had black people running his company, he would be making better movies? May I remind you of Boomerang and A Vampire in Brooklyn?

That's not what I am saying. I am saying that Eddie needs to take control of his company, stop letting others tell him this is the way to go. It's like he got no direction. he just cares about crap like his lastest movie making millions of doallars. He's got too much clout to settle for BullSh*it movies. He left his core audience in the 80s behind. The ones that MADE him.

BTW, Boomerang was OK, Vampire In Brooklyn sucked.

Eddie has been known for his comedic movies, no one downed him for The Nutty Professor. Him doing multiple characters works for him, why not continue to do them if that is what people want to see. He can also continue to do serious movies nothing wrong with that either.

BrianDamage you have just revealed what i already know about you. You're a f*cking lame bi*ch. How can you say Boomerang was a wack movie? Just because your lame ass couldn't relate to it, that's why it was wack to you? That movie is a classic. I agree with GarfieldKool that Eddie has made some terrible decisions with the movies he's done. Let's not forget his other wack movies The Adventures Of Pluto Nash, Holy Man, Beverly Hills Cop 3, The Haunted Mansion, Dr Doolittle 1 and 2, The Nutty Professor 2, Showtime. A Vampire In Brooklyn was definitely trash and i wish i hadn't wasted my money on that. I'm surprised Angela Bassett and Allen Payne was in that garbage because they usually don't be in wack movies. Eddie has definitely abandoned his black audience who supported him in the 80's. He's only interested in the cash and that's obvious because his career went downhill after Boomerang movie. Life, Metro, Dreamgirls were the last good flicks he's done.
