I went all the way to work and found out my company was CLOSED due to ICE-LOL - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Damm, I could have stayed in BED and instead of going out in that mess. I never thought to call the company Weather number because we only received 1 inch of snow but I think due to the ICE they decided to close.

I made the best of it, I went and got a HUGE BREAKFAST and just finished it and now get to spend the rest of the day doing what I want-lol

I remember when school was closed several times for ICE.......

I guess it can make things dangerous..... Especially the roads!!

According to labor laws (at least in my state), if a person show up for work and business was closed due to inclement weather, the company should pay that employee half day salary (or four hours pay). Given that company did not notify their employees of the business closure beforehand.
