VEI 's release of Cobra - The Complete Series "out of stock"
VEI was becoming one of my favorite dvd studios when they began releasing some of my favorite shows on dvd. Although they had that release date fiasco with Gimme a Break: The Complete Second Season, I thought it was just a minor problem. Now, it seems every release from VEI is "out of stock" on release date. The same thing happened with the third season set of Kate & Allie. Then, a day later, it was "in stock".
I had pre-ordered Cobra: The Complete Series and it was said to be released yesterday. So, I checked and the page on amazon.ca says "out of stock" and I have received info from amazon informing me that the shipping estimate has changed to March 14. What I don't understand is why these release delays keep happening with this studio. Their releases are selling well yet they screw up by not supplying enough stock or supplying any at all. It's definitely making me think twice before buying from them again. Has anyone else experienced this problem with VEI?  *UPDATE* According to Gord from tvshowsondvd.com, the set has not been delayed. He said it is probably just not in stock yet which seems accurate according to VEI's track record.
