Mullally Spends Time in 'Boston' - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

With her daytime show now done, Megan Mullally is headed back to primetime, courtesy of the folks at "Boston Legal."

Mullally will guest-star on an episode of the ABC series later this season, playing a former co-worker and ex-girlfriend of James Spader's character, Alan Shore. She's shooting the episode this week; an airdate hasn't been scheduled yet.

Whenever the episode does air, Mullally will have a memorable entrance. Per ABC, viewers will meet her character, Renata Hall, "as she dashes down the courthouse hallway wearing a bloody wedding gown, carrying a bloody pair of scissors and proclaiming her innocence in the murder of her betrothed."

Mullally won a pair of Emmys, in 2000 and 2006, for playing Karen Walker on NBC's "Will & Grace." She was nominated five other times and also counts four Screen Actors Guild Awards wins to her credit. She hosted a daytime talk show this season, but low ratings forced it off the air last month.

Her credits also include the feature films "Rebound" and "Stealing Harvard" and the HBO movie "Winchell."

It was a good episode although its not the same without the high pitched voice of Karen Walker.
