Tara Calico - Slavery ring? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It seems many of you are just as haunted as I am about Tara Calico. I know there have been several discussions about the locations where the photographs were found. If there have been several sightings over the years and those sightings were all over the country, could it be possible that Tara and the young boy (Henley) were kidnapped and entered into some underground pedophile, slavery ring?!?!? Or, that Tara (like the Missouri boy) has been brainwashed into staying and oberying those who took her?

Does anyone know anything about a secret society that exists among us for real? I am ceratin there are many, but they have thier own codes for communicating. Any help?

here is something I wrote on another TC discussion. i think it could be relevant

the first picture, the film was not available until May or 1989. The second picture, the film was not available until June of 1989. Both pics had the similar blue striped linen in the background whatever the girl was laying on. I haven't seen the second picture but she has the lazy eye and other characteristics of Tara just like the first one. They were probably both taken at around the same time, June of '89 or so. Her mom thought the first and second were of her. She didn't really think the third one (on the train with the scary guy) was her and nobody mentioned where they found that one. Her mom said it was probably a sick prank. Also the film wasn't available until some time in 1990, much longer than the other two. I think the first two are real and of Tara....very strange one was found in a convenience store parking lot in Florida and the other was found at a construction residential site in Montecito, California. The simliarities, thought, can't be dismissed!

Michael Henley's body was later found in the Zuni Mountains near where he was last seen. I do not think the boy in the picture with the unidentified girl was him. However, I do think this is an interesting theory. There is talk that Amy Bradley was kidnapped off of a cruise ship and sold into a slavery/prostitution ring. I don't see why this couldn't happen in the U.S. as well.

I dont think the slavery ring exists and I seriously doubt any missing child here became a slave or a sex slave; most are killed by child molesters or by someoone they know who molests them. I believe Tara was killed in the desert that day after being hit by the truck or was raped and murdered, her body is probably buried there. I do not believe those pictures are her either.
They say there was a slave ring when Johnny Gosch was kidnapped; I also doubt that is correct either and Noreen Gosch is making the whole thing up

Did they ever determine what precisely happened to Michael Henley? I've looked around on the internet, but all I can find are repeated references to the idea that his remains were found in the woods not far from where he disappeared, and one at least one site I read that he had been buried in a shallow grave --- but no reference to where that info came from.

I hate it when the "solution" raises more questions than it answers!

I Wonder If Foul Play In Tara Calico;s Case Might Rest With Her Parents, Its A Little Suspicious That Her Items Were Planted And Those Pictures As Well. Lets Not Forget That Many Missing Person Cases Begin With The "was Last Seen" And Honestly, Many Times Those Are Witness Accounts Of Family Which Are Many Times Not True. How did you find out about Michael Henley? Is there a source out on the internet somewhere for that information?

As for Tara Calico, you raise an interesting point but I doubt that, in this case, she was murdered by someone close to home, as witnesses independent of the family saw her riding on her bike and being followed by a particular truck, which was described in the segment. My guess is that none of the photographs ever were of Tara, and, moreover, that they were staged pranks --- I find it odd that the first photogrpah would be found underneath where the van would have been, for example. How did it get there unless it was purposely left?

By the way, what case are you referring to concerning the missing girl and her step father?

The missing girl i refer to is Kellie Harris, from Michigan, who was missing for many years, and was "last seen" riding her bike by her family, and was "last seen" getting on a bus from Detroit" Both bull, the stepfather molested and killed her. I dont discount parental involvement in Tara's death either.

The Michael Henley case was mentioned to me by someone close to the case at the time, I do not believe that information is on the internet.

I read a lengthy article on the net a while back supposedly written by a former FBI agent about the alleged slavery ring who abducted John Gosch. It mentioned Mrs. Gosch's reports that her son returned briefly too her, years later, claiming to have been forced into said ring and was still unable to escape. I recall there even being a claim of our current president being in attendance of some sex "party" where high ranking officials could enjoy the company of the various kidnapped and possibly brainwashed children under the control of the slavery ringmasters. The article was long and detailed and definately got me interested. But I don't believe everything that I read -especially on the internet. What bothers me, though is why Noreen Gosch would simply create this entire story about her son knocking at her door as a grown man. Perhaps a desperate attempt to bring newfound attention to her son's long-dormant case. Who knows. Here's an article if you (or anyone) wants to check it out. Total conspiracy theory stuff. All I have to say is if it is true, then it's huge.

It even fingers Hunter S. Thompson as a snuff-film producer...

I feel for Johnny's mother, I really do. But, I think she's completely lost it as far as his case goes. I've never believed in these super secret sex rings involving high ranking politicians and other officials. Of course, I've never believed in the whole satanic cult conspiracy either. There's just no evidence to back either one up. People do kidnap young girls and boys for use as prostitutes and I'm sure there's probably one or two groups out there who trade "slaves", but I don't believe for one minute it's what Noreen says it is. I won't visit her site anymore because of the pictures. Whether or not they are Johnny, some of them are clearly of children being exploited. They shouldn't be on a website, they should be in the hands of the police.

A while ago, Noreen was citing a man named David Icke as a credible source on this conspiracy ring. Mr. Icke also believes that many high ranking officials in world government are actually lizard people. I swear, I'm not making that up. My skills in fiction aren't good enough.

The whole Hunter S. Thompson bit kind of makes me laugh. I love HST and I know he was in to some weird things, but even a professional weirdo has his limits. I doubt he'd ever be involved in the same ring as the politicians he held in such contempt.

You make a good point about the Gosch site. I had looked at it for the first time yesterday and was kinda freaked out by what I saw. Sick. In fact I should probably delete that site link and just leave the article. I'm not trying to help advertise that. I don't see what purpose putting those pixs up on her site serves. Yeah, they're shocking but they don't prove anything. I've only ever found one picture of John Gosch taken before he was abducted. She's got all of these horrible pictures on her site of bound boys she claims to be her son, but why no photos of him in happier times?
The whole conspiracy about the sex rings and officials is believable to me in theory, alone. I feel anything's possible regarding the behind-the-scenes goings on of potentially anyone but where's ANY evidence in this case? People can make crazy accusations all they want and cooincidentally everything from the Gunderson/Gosch camp seems to be based soley on alleged recollections of various individuals, many of whom are currently in prison, in hiding, or have since suicided (if this were johnnygosch.com there would probably be quotes around that word, suggesting foul play). So let's assume it's all just a string of completely untrue, unfair allegations against the government regarding their role in Goschs' disappearance. Fine. I still go back to the question of who is the boy in those photos? Is it really John Gosch? Then where did these photos come from and why is seemingly no one (besides Ted Gunderson) investigating? Has the FBI seen them and already deemed them a hoax, or at least not to be of JG? If so; why does Noreen Gosch still have them and how is she legally being allowed to post them? She mentions a child-porn website they supposedly came from...who's responsible for that website and have they been investigated? Even if the photos were a stunt and the boy was in no real danger; what kind of parent would allow their child to pose for such images? Whoever he is it seems he's now being exploited. I guess that's why the case still recieves so much attention and speculation after so long.
As for your comment about Hunter Thompson, I agree with you completely. This was the first I'd ever heard his name relating anywhere near this case and it's a shame he didn't live to read about it. I'm sure he'd be quite amused. Hey, now that I think of it; Thompson also believed (at times) in lizard people!!
