or.....

George and Louise could go bankrupt from openning too many dry-cleanning
stores while they are in California. And have to move in with Louise's distant
cousin Aunt Ester who lives next door to Fred & Lamont Sanford.

Bentley never lived in Russia, right? He lived in England.

But even in the future version of the Jeffersons Bentley should be right there in Bel Air next to the all of them.

Okay how about this
Bentley move back to england but for only a year from 1991-1992 then he nove back to the united state in bel-air california right next door to the jeffersons. so The willis live on one side and bentley lives on the other side.

I hate to tell you this, but if the Jeffersons were set in 2007, George would be a widower as his wife, Louise died in 2006 at age 90 from natural causes. Coincidentally, her portrayer Isabel Sanford died of natural causes as well two years before and was only 86. George would be 77 years old at the time and plans to retire from the dry-cleaning business.

Although Isabel was older than Sherman in real life, we never given the impression that Louise was 20 years older than George.

I like the idea of George as a widower, and losing 2 of his friends, the Willises.

I don't even want to think about this. I will just leave them in Bel-Air where we last saw them.

George is now a widower, as Isabel Sanford died in 2004. He still runs Jefferson cleaners. The Willises are both gone as both Roxie Roker and Franklin Cover died. Lionel and Jenny got back together and have a life of their own in Chicago. George lives in Bel-Air with Florence still his maid. Bentley still lives in the apartment in New York.
