Game Show Episode - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

On one of the shows they had to go undercover as contestants on a game
show to try to catch the host cheating, I think he would give certain ones
the correct answers so they could win. Can anyone remember what costumes
that each of them wore?

It seems like I remember Victor wearing a big yellow banana costume, but I
can't remember what the others wore.

Witch ame show was Caganey and Lacey on because I do not rememer that episode

It was a game show that was made up for that episode of Cagney and Lacy.
It was sort of like Family Feud but they had to wear costumes and the host
of the show kept flirting with Cagney and I think her undercover name for
the game show was Betty. But I can't remember what costumes they all wore
except for Victor, he was in a Banana costume. I thought someone might
remember it.

They all wore fruits. Cagney (Betty for the show) was a pineapple. Lacey was either an apple or a cherry. Esposito was a bunch of grapes and Isbecki was a banana. The episode is in Season 7, and is entitled "Greed". Cliff Gorman played the game show host.
