25 inch TVs are a THING OF THE PAST now???????? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Went to Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, and Walmart and none of those stores carry 25 inch TV's so I had to get a 24 inch Flat screen. I was told 25 inch TV are a thing of the past and they are not sold anymore. Shock of the Day

Ironically, I bought a 24 inch TV today from K-Mart. It looks more like a 27 inch. I think it is still the same size as a 25 inch, but just listed as a different number of inches.

The entire TV buying experience gave me a headache today.

Maybe they're phasing out certain sizes in preparation for the HD/digital switch. Only two years to go.

Me and my boyfriend went tv shopping yesterday, really just checking out prices since we are getting rid of our living room television and getting one that is HD. We are going to buy a flat screen to put on our wall. We are debating whether 32 inch or 40 inch.

If my Apt was on the first floor I would have gotten a 27 inch flat screen

My husband and I are so used to a big screen tv, that I know we'll never go smaller. I think it's 60". I love it for movies especially.

The flat screen's are a lot lighter though. The days of the 100lb tvs are over.

True. That was another thing we were checking out yesterday, the weight of the tv's. They are very light.

Yep. I have a 37" HDTV and it's pretty damn light.

We bought a 42in plasma, I think that anything bigger is too show offy and way to big. That's one reason why we have no tv in the Livingroom
