I just wanted to tell a little goofy story about the Orange Socks Murders. When the episode first aired, my Uncle Kevin called my dad to tell him he was going to be on UM. Kevin's a sherriff in Colorado where the murders took place. So imagine my father, a bald Mr. Clean looking man in his late 40's, holding the VCR remote every Wednesday night at 7pm with a fresh tape in the VCR. 6 weeks went by, and we had 6 episodes on a tape, no Uncle Kevin. (I was thrilled because I talked my dad into letting me watch it every week anyway). Finally the Orange Socks episode came on. When it first showed the scene of 6 police officers carrying a body bag up a snowy incline, there was Kevin. The third guy on the right, with dark shaded glasses, short brown hair, and a bald spot on the top of his head. Then that was it!!! I think there was a glimpse or two more of him during the episode, but he didn't talk or anything. You know what? It was still awesome to us! We told everyone!!! Funny stuff, good times. That's my one and only personal connection to the show, besides being a fan for 20 years.
That's my introduction, haha. I just registered here, dynoguy told me about this website, and it's truly cool. I do think they should reopen the show with a different host. Yes, UM was Robert Stack, but it was also about solving crimes and it helped tons of people. They could do it so it's obvious that they're carrying on the legacy, not replacing Robert. I think Ray Liotta should host, he can be creepy. Maybe because I think he's hot, too. I would think a person like Robert Stack would want the show to continue, without him if necessary. Any thoughts? |

Yeah, I was going to type more than "I", but I accidentally hit Enter instead of Shift. If anyone wants to continue with the rest of the vowels, feel free.

I would love to see the show return with Bill Kurtis (American Justice) as host.
