Am I the only one on the planet who think these statements by George are Very Funny?

Maybe I'm the only one who can see the hum but I was watching "Where's Papa" last night and laghed out loud last night when I saw this scene

Louise: "George Please Stop Yelling"

George: "I'm not yeling I'm just Talking Loud"


LOL

And this was similar to one of his statements from season 1


Piano Mover: "Don't yell at me Mister"

George" I ain't yelling I just got a Loud Voice"


LOL,. Anyone think these statements by George are funny?

When delivered by George Jefferson, they're funny. On their own, reading them, not funny. I laughed half the time before he even opened his mouth. That character was hilarious.

I don't expect anyone to laugh by reading the statements, I want to see if anyone saw the ep or can remember the scenes to determine whether or not they were funny.

Well I don't recall the scenes, but I can picture him saying those lines, and I'm sure I would laugh.

That scene is hilarious. Reading it here is not the same. This is one scene that needs to be seen to see how really funny it is. There are some scenes that you can "read" and it will be funny, but this is one of those that has to be watched. You can't explain it in detail, even though I know you can.

Yeah! I mean, reading this sounds like something a comedian on stage would say...and it is funny. The scene you posted above, I have to see George's face, his movements, the whole reaction, the whole thing of what is going on to see how funny it is.
