I know TJ was smart enough to take High School classes and get straight As when he was ten years old. But I still think it looks so wrong, having that little boy being around all those teenagers. It just made him look younger than what he was. I know he was too smart for elementary school and got bored and everything, but was there really no other solution than having him in High School, in the same classes as his six years older brother?

Well, it's no more ridiculous than Doogie Howser becoming a full-fledged doctor at age 16.

I think the creators were just wanting a tv show that people would watch. The situation he was in, was the show! It would not be the same show if he was moved into a special school with people his own age who were as clever would it? I do understand what you mean though, bit of a daft idea but it worked as it is a really good show

I guess that's true. That was the whole premise of the show. But it still makes me a little bit uneasy seeing poor TJ among all those teenagers.

It's what made the show interesting. The storyline was built around that.
